Questions

How is this different from a data analyst?

A marketing analyst goes deep on marketing questions and tools: tracking, attribution, campaign reporting. A data analyst role is broader and more technical, usually with more SQL and often outside marketing. The two overlap, and many people move between them.

How much SQL do I need?

To start, writing basic queries with filters and joins is enough. For mid-level roles most employers expect you to be comfortable with SQL and a BI tool.

Where do the salary numbers come from?

From published salary surveys, official statistics and job listings. Every country lists its sources with dates, and each row carries a confidence rating. The ranges are typical, not promises, and your offer depends on the company, the city and your skills.

Does FunnelGym guarantee a job?

No. FunnelGym teaches by practice and gives you projects to show. Hiring is the employer's decision, and results depend on your own experience and effort.

How often is the data updated?

We refresh it regularly and show the last collection date for each country. When a number is missing, we say that it is being researched rather than guess.
